TI-36X Integral help, please
Hi all.
I go into Table define f(x) as 3/sqrt(1-x^2) hit Integral lower limit=-0.5 upper limit=0.5 in the integrand box, I press Table 1 ( f( x ) [without spaces, of course] ENTER Immediately I get MEMORY LIMIT Error. How could I set this up correctly so I can just put f(x) as the integrand and have it evaluated? |

I did it with a TI-30X Pro which has near to 100% the same functionality:
Integral - Lower limit -0.5 - upper limit 0.5 - function: 3/SQRT(1-x²): Nearly immediately gives as result 3.141592654. Why did you press table 1? |

If I understand you correctly, inputting table choice 2, f( into the integral on the calculating screen where you then complete the f( with f(x) should work!

Hi all.
I think I discovered the glitch about my OP. If I enter the expression as √(3/(1-x SQ)), integration cooperates. But, if I use the MathPrint fraction template instead of just /, BOOM! MEMORY ERROR. I wonder why using the MathPrint fraction template causes the problem. Anyone know? |

Looking forward to checking out the CASIO fx-991CW. It is an updated 991EX, faster, uses a smaller epsilon in derivatives, integrals, and solve if I understand the specifications correctly. It was listed for October, but seems only available in Southeast Asia at this time…

It’s excellent that most used utilities are keyboard accessible instead of hidden in menus. The dark circular keys are reminiscent of the 70s look of calculators. Curious thing. The TI-30X is available as an import. So, why can’t we order this as an import even though it’s an overseas product? |

I used the fraction bar for the problem above and it worked for:
TI-30X Pro MathPrint (date code L-0122C) But not for: TI-36X Pro (date code L-0421E, gray arithmetic keys with white font) |
