Sure, but it means that someone actually cared to take a mirror of the site, that is never like having the real mirror of the site, as what can be seen may be less than what is there. And unless we can help archive.org to keep in a p2p state their snapshots, relying on a single source for backups may also be not that resilient.

The main point being: the original sites (with all the backed data that may not be visible) are lost for the moment.
