RE: MicroPython officially becomes part of the Arduino IDE
Hello,

but at this time only four boards are supported:
- Nano 33 BLE
- Nano 33 BLE Sense
- Nano RP2040 Connect
- Portenta H7

And I fear that it will take forever until the thouasands of peripherials are supported under MicroPython as well. For me the big advantage of the Arduino hardware and IDE (over most of the other microcontroller tinkering environments) is that fact that one can find a library for almost everything free on the web that requires minimal adaption to get one's project running.

Regards
Max
