Hi all.

I’m thinking TI’s top of the line graphing calculator is the N-Spire (what’s the full name of its highest model?)

So, what are the top graphing models from Sharp & Casio?

Thanks.

In France, full names are:

- TI-Nspire™ CX II-T
- TI-Nspire™ CX II-T CAS

In the USA and Canada, it's the same:

https://education.ti.com/en/select-country

Matt,

For Sharp, I believe it's the EL-9950, a non-CAS graphical calculator (a sleeker version of the EL-9900), sold in Europe but haven't seen in the U.S.

For Casio, the CG500 is the flagship graphical model with Casio's CAS system. Interestingly, KhiCAS and Eigenmath Add-Ins are available (not from Casio) for the intermediate CG50 model that provide numerous advanced features not found in the CG500.

Thanks!

Now this.

Since I have an iPad Pro and iPhone X, are these models capable of receiving firmware updates and files storage/transfers through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth either standalone or with a BT or WiFi connection with an iPhone/iPad loaded with the relevant iOS app for the calculator? For example storing user files between the calc & the app and archiving them from the app into a Dropbox/OneDrive account?

Sharp do a free pc emulator for their EL-9950G graphing calculator. search for Sharp EL9950g Simulator. should show up "http://www.sharp-calculators.com/en/id/127-downloads" which should give you all sorts of sharp goodies. windows will warn that it it is not secure, but if you go on anyway it should be ok. I did panic at the start because I forgot to switch the ON button and follow the display instructions. Have fun.
