RE: DM 15L two line display
That's a great summary of these two firmwares, thankyou.

Appologies for my earlier mistake with the company names, just a momentary error from me, I just added a note on my previous post.

But, isn't it great that a fairly recent product, inspired by and enhancing a 40+ year-old classic, can itself be significantly updated in this way? And that the hardware is versatile enough to make this possible, and the team at SM have the foresight to make this accessible. Then we should congratulate the writers of the firmwares, jebedeo and the SM team, for outstanding achievements. Plus, open discussions such as are held on this forum, lead to some of the best outcomes arising from the internet, with genuine sharing leading to improvement and development.

All best wishes at this time of the year, for whichever holidays you all celebrate!

FYI Swissmicros has released a number of SDK's (Software Development Kits) for their calculators. I've looked at the one for the DM15L. Moravia/HP hasn't for the HP-15C CE.

Thus 3rd parties can more easily develop firmware for the Swissmicros products.

A1

HP-15C (2234A02xxx), HP-16C (2403A02xxx), HP-15C CE (9CJ323-03xxx), HP-20S (2844A16xxx), HP-12C+ (9CJ251)
