RE: NEW: HP 15C Collectors Edition
So, I'm slightly confused about one thing...
Is there no US distributor, or am I missing something? Daily drivers: 15c, 32sII, 35s, 41cx, 48g, WP 34s/31s. Favorite: 16c. Latest: 15ce, 48s, 50g. Gateway drug: 28s found in yard sale ~2009. |

RE: NEW: HP 15C Collectors Edition
There will be US distribution of it. I am looking into offering it for sale through my commerce site, though I do not have pricing details yet. It looks like it would reach the US in late August or early September.

Hooray! I've got an original 15C to hold me over until then.

Usually sales through an "authorized distributor" inherit the full manufacturer's warranty as if sold through the manufacturer. Hopefully it will never be an issue. What would make it "gray market"? US distributor, US retailer, US customers. |

Presumably, but I don't know how the relationship works between the distributor and HP and its licensees. These distributors have been working with HP for many decades for getting calculators to the educational market so it's not like they'd be doing things against HP's wishes. |

I didn't read anything about a one-time limited production run, if they remain in production after the initial batch is sold out I see those prices dropping very fast. |

The DM15L is four to five times faster than the original HP-15C. Compare that with the available (from special sellers on auction sites) HP-15C LE which is 100 times (on average) faster than the original HP-15C. Namir |

RE: NEW: HP 15C Collectors Edition
It just looks so bad that Royal is not willing to make any statement about it. It is like they don’t give a crap about the community.
