Didier's photo does indeed show the grey-green difference. It also demonstrates the much clearer orange-yellow printing in the CE version. I think that's a good improvement!

The 15C CE display seems fine to me.

For me, the brighter and contrasty-er faceplate printing, along with the matte finish on the keys (and the fact my CE is brand new and my original 15c is just a tiny bit battle-scarred) all add up to override any minor annoyance with the greenish display.

Hmm. The only gripe I have of the aesthetics of my original 15c and 11c is that the faceplates are scratched. (One has a friend's initials.)

Moravia has new bezels, the means to attach them, and probably the means to remove old ones cleanly.

I wonder if they'd consider offering a refurb service to replace old Voyager bezels?

You will have to do a hard reset of the calculator.
I don't remember exactly the method, but I think there is a reset hole inside the battery compartment.
It has been mentioned in other posts in this section about the 15C ce.

The 16C mode and the large memory mode do not support the self test, so not a good thing to try to do

Thanks for your answer. It took a bit of time until today (I did not have the tools to open the battery compartment and to execute a hard reset), I have just tried today the solution of the reset hole, but unfortunately, it has not worked

When I hold the reset button a few seconds (maybe 5 seconds), "Pr Error" is displayed when I turn on the calculator. But, when I press another key, there is nothing anymore on the display.

Is there anything else to do in addition to the reset hole? How could I fix such a problem?

After you saw the PR ERROR, would the calculator turn off and on again?

Next level,

Get the PR ERROR as before, then take the batteries out.
Leave them out for a minute or so then re-insert them.

When you turn it on, you'll probably get PR ERROR again.
Turn it off and on again, hopefully, back to normal.

Unfortunately, it does not work. When I try to turn it on (before trying to solve the problem), the display remains "inactive", whatever the key I am pressing (after having pressed the key "on"). I will test your solution again in few minutes (or tomorrow).

I just have the impression that there is no "built-in programmes" anymore in the calculator, as if the calculator was just an "empty keyboard". If anyone has another solution, I would be interested in.

Please try installing brand new batteries before concluding the h/w is defective. It may have ended up in some crazy mode and eaten through the batteries, and now after getting "PR ERROR" (which btw is not really an error, it simply means that power was lost and reset) there is not enough power to complete a full startup. It's worth a try...

The complex matrix capabilities don't really interest me in 2023 (having been spoilt by the complex matrix capabilities of the RPL line of calculators), but the rest of the complex math capabilities of the 15C keep me coming back for more time and time again.

One interesting design detail I like in both LE and CE 15C's, is the clarity of display in low light conditions. That's an important design consideration in a pocketable calculator. It's certainly a more important design benefit than one would expect when judged from the specification documentation alone.

I received my 15CCE today!
I'm sure someone has already posted a comparison photo of the three models in a timeline before, but here's mine - original 1982 (NIB) 15C, 2011 LE, and 2023 CE. Quick iphone image - i'll try to take a better image in the next week or so.
