Buying a HP prime v2 - Any difference between 2AP18AA and a G8X92AA?
Hello,

I am buying a HP prime v2. I see 2 different models on Amazon.

This is a 2AP18AA
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07...VKZB&psc=1

This is a G8X92AA - this has a listing that says prime v2
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B00...XSO0&psc=1

I googled that the 2AP18AA is considered as the v2 but I am confused about the G8X92AA. Is this also the v2?

Which of the above 2 versions is the latest v2 that I should buy please?

Thanks

G8X92AA is, I believe, a revised version with newer CPU, faster, and more memory, and more flash storage.

There should be threads discussing the differences in more detail.

Try searching for Prime G2.

There has been several versions of the Prime hardware, if you are looking for a G2 with updated CPU and increased memory, it is the model number 2AP18AA .

Didier, thank you for the correction.

HP's random model type numbers are confusing.

Thank you also for providing a link to the comparison page.

On the newest hardware, there is a G2 molded in a circle in the back labeling.
That will absolutely confirm the version you have received.

Note: I do trust Didier!
