No. This petition is 7 months old and has received 171 signatures during this time. Casio couldn't care less because this is probably the number of any other of their calculators that they sell every minute worldwide...

Hmm. Makes me wonder why and how this ended up in my FB feed as a current post. Even more peculiar, why is the petition still active?

Well, anyway… a replacement from TI, Sharp, even Canon might be far superior. Although, I wonder if any manufacturer features a spreadsheet on a model comparable to the 991EX.

The petition might have gained more traction if they'd have bothered to run it through a spell checker first.

Not casting any shade here; on the contrary, I want non-collectors to take these things a bit more seriously.

when Casio made a portable scientific calculator with spreadshet, and that can store each sheet, I will replace my 570 ES 2nd edition.

Even if they do something simple like have four "tabs" with separate sheets, bump it up to 8 KB of RAM, and make it save data when powered off, that would be a huge upgrade. At least my Psion Organiser 2 LZ64 with the spreadsheet module is kind of like that. Smile

I can completely agree there. For me, it’s the 991EX. Came across the 570 when I bought the 991EX. I didn’t want to constantly replace AAA batteries though.
