A Belated Happy Birthday to the HP-48SX
Hi,
I missed it by one day....Happy birthday to the HP-48SX, which was introduced on March 6th, 1990 to much fanfare. Long live Charlemagne :-)

Thanks for the reminder, Jake. Newer models may have better performance and more features, but the 48sx has sentimental significance for me in my "second chapter" of calculator usage.

Happy 34th to the best-looking of the RPL series (especially when upgraded with a black display Smile)!

I second that, adding not only RPL family, but including all graphical cakculators!

Elegant, perfect keys feeling, big font....sturdy....what else? Big ENTER key....

34 years passed so fast, looks like yesterday

Long live HP 48SX!

Cheers

I've a fond spot for the 48SX. Mine died many years back and I've not replaced it. Nonetheless, it was fun. I think the 28S had a purer interface but both are great.
