Since HP-12C doesn't have the Hour Minute Second function this

program will convert H.MS to Decimal Hour and Vice Versa.

Hour Minute Second input is the same as shown in the

HP-10C, 11C and 15C User Manual. For example.

2 Hour 34 minute 55 second input as 2.3455

15 minute 21 second input as 0.1521

Usage: FIX 4

For first use input two value to storage R6 and R7

60 [STO] 6

100 [STO] 7

►To convert H.MS to H make sure program is at the beginning.

[f] PRGM to start at the beginning of this program

Enter H.MS [R/S] display the Decimal Hour

Repeat similar problem no need to start at the beginning of program.

►To convert H to H.MS Start program at line 29

[GTO] 29 [R/S] display the Hour Minute Second

Repeat similar problem no need to go to line 29 again.

And calculator already set to the beginning of the program line.

►Distance of 14 km took 35 minute
What is the speed?

This type of problem the formular to use is

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

14 [ENTER] 0.35 [R/S] display 0.5833 [÷] display answer 24 km/h

►Distance of 15 km with the speed of 25 km/h
How long will this take to cover this distance?

This type of problem the formular to use is

Time = Distance ÷ Speed

15 [ENTER] 25 [÷] display 0.6000 [GTO] 29 [R/S] 0.3600

Answer is 36 minute
