Houston, we have a problem (actually HP)
Hi all.

I’m reading a few articles on the HP-35’s impact on technology. In one article, I came across the recall letter about the infamous ln 2.02 bug.

The card also references another card illustrating other known bugs. Does anyone have a copy of the addendum card detailing the other known bugs.

Here’s the article which mentions the recall.

Yes. Go to Literature.hpcalc.org

Search for HP-35

Searching for answers before posting a question can make your posts contributing conclusions and analysis rather than just questions :-)

I did look for it. Since it’s an obscure item, who’s going to keep such a small pamphlet? Besides, once you get its message, you’d probably throw it away. So, who’s going to keep something like that? It’s not a full manual. It’s not a supplemental manual. So, I figured to do a Google search. No results.

The „big bug“ is described in this errata sheet:

The image of the errata document, shared by Thomas in post #5, is hyperlinked to a page in German language, "Der legendäre HP-35," which is new to me and contains really good information on the HP-35 story, including versions of the product hardware, cases and handbook.

Thanks all!

Thanks all!

This truly excellent site is created/managed by Jürgen Keller, an active member here in the MoHPC Forums. Google translate helps one page at a time for us non-German readers, but after an article or two, it makes me wish Jürgen was a native English speaker... Smile
