Allschwil HP Meeting 2024

[HP-Collection]

Hans-Peter and I thought long and hard about whether we would be able to organize another Allschwil HP Meeting this year. It always takes a lot of effort and we are both currently at the upper end of our time resources. So, unfortunately, it was with a heavy heart that we had to decide not to hold a meeting this year. If we organize one, then it should be well-founded. However, we assume that we will be able to organize a meeting next year.
It remains for us to wish you all a good summer (Jaco, a good winter for you, of course). I hope we'll keep reading about each other here in the forum and that we'll see each other again next year in Switzerland.

While i was happy about this year event, i can just immagine the effort needed to organize such a meeting.

Can you disclose when it could have been? (probably not far away from other HP meetings in EU, or after meetings in the US).
In Stuttgart-Germany I have access to a big room with projector and I could book it in advance if few people are interested in the date you will give (then I will confirm later the room is booked and available before you make your travel bookings).
Stuttgart has an airport, 2h from Allschwill and all needed modernity like hotel and tramway (and the excellent german beer).

I am (interested)! And as we live just 30km south of Stuttgart I would also volunteer to assist with the preparations. Unless of course the date collides with my work/private schedule.

Sounds like a good plan. Depending on the date and other commitments I certainly interested to come. About 6 hours drive and closer than Allschwill for me.

That sounds absolutely great. I'll attend, too, and will try to keep the 25. and 26 Oct. free from all other dates which might come.

I have plenty of webspace, subdomains, ftp- and email-accounts left in my webhosting bundle. If it helps I can allocate some of it for the meeting.
