printing barcodes on an 82143?

I seem to recall that there were programs that would print barcodes for a program already in memory on the standard printer. I'm aware of the SWIDBC module, but that will only print on 80-column HP-IL printers, which does me no good, as I want to print the barcodes from the go41cx emulator (which "prints" on PNG files, which I can then print on any printer).

The 82143A can't do a partial line advance, so it cannot print continuously graphics in the vertical direction. This prevents it from printing most bar code formats. The HP-IL printer added the partial advance capability for that reason.

I wrote an article on printing Barcode using the HP-IL Printer in the PPC Journal V14N4 back in April of 1987. Don't know if it will be of use. You never know.
