Also, USB drives from the conference are now available for purchase from my commerce site. The price is US$80 plus shipping. |

RE: HHC 2024 video recordings and USB drive
Thank you Eric, I've been enjoying the videos as you've posted them over the past couple of weeks.
I had been eagerly awaiting the updates from Moravia and from the HP License Manager, but now you say that all the videos are posted. Did those two presentations not happen in the end? (Also seemingly missing (compared to the conference schedule) are presentations by James Donnelly on vanquishing epicycles and Greg Maletic on a pop-up exhibit.) |

RE: HHC 2024 video recordings and USB drive
Nobody from Moravia gave a presentation. It was planned, but a combination of technical issues and scheduling issues caused it to not happen. HP's Strategic Brand Licensing Manager, Dan Croft, did give a presentation, but he asked that it not be shared. However, it had no new information in it and was largely identical in content to Mitch Abrams's talk from last year, so you aren't missing anything.
James Donnelly was unable to attend the conference at the last minute, but his presentation files are on the USB drive. Greg Maletic did not attend the conference either, and no presentation materials were submitted. In exchange we got two unscheduled presentations, by Kuba Tatarkiewicz and Felix Gross, to fill the timeslots. Also, Eric Smith's presentations got jumbled a bit; he had two 45-minute slots to give two half-hour presentations and two 15-minute presentations, and I believe the plan was to do one half-hour and one 15-minute presentation in each 45 minute block. However, we got kicked out of the room earlier than expected on Saturday night, so he only had 25 minutes instead of 45. That meant that his 15-minute presentation (It Escaped from the Lab — Part I) originally planned to be delivered after his 30-minute presentation (C++ for Fun and Profit) got moved to Sunday, when we were able to squeeze in an extra 15 minutes, and that 30 minute presentation was slightly truncated (the last slide was unable to be presented). Other than that, we followed the schedule. Everything presented (aside from the one mentioned above) has been uploaded to YouTube. My videos site (linked above) also has the conference introduction, which will remain unlisted from the YouTube page. |

Recently joined the museum and bumped into one of these videos. Watched most of them this week.
I can't emphasize enough how enjoyable these presentations are. War stories and secrets revealed. |

Eric,
As usual an excellent job and thank you so much for recording these. Your recordings helped get my PhD grant as they accepted the videos you published as accomplishments along with publications and etc. They are fun to watch (except watching myself makes me cringe :-) Best wishes, Geoff HP 41C/CX/CL at work. The rest for playtime! |

RE: HHC 2024 video recordings and USB drive
I am definitely going to get the usb. I also want to go to the HHC next year. My only decision is if I'm also going to get a 15C CE at the same time.

There may be no 15c CE units still available then, at least not at 'normal' prices; no doubt once mainstream vendors' stock dwindles, the price will skyrocket on eBay and similar sites. But it's impossible to say for sure, perhaps the brisk sales of the CE over the past year have convinced Moravia to continue production indefinitely? --Bob Prosperi |

They were still in stock at commerce.hpcalc.org so I placed my order just now. You convinced me not to wait.
Thank you! JR |
