The hp-prime can put in the input line of expressions several expressions in Pretty Print but in the history it shows them in linear form.

Case #1 for example logarithm in base b of an argument x

In CAS mode

logb(x,2) [enter]
logb(x,2) .... ln(x)/ln(2)
[copy)
log2(x) // Pretty Print
