I have an HP Prime G1 calculator (same software version) and I tried to do this. It works fine for me, the calculator does not reset. Try resetting your calculator. Insert a paper clip into the hole on the back of the calculator that says "Reset" and press. After resetting, go to the Geometry Symbolic View page and re-enter the point command (1,2) and then go to the Plot page and see if it is OK now.

Confirmed on my G2 running the same version of the software and the point defined is lost.
Tested subsequently on a Rev. C G1 running the 2024-07-21 beta software: OK Updated the Rev. C G1 to the latest version: OK This definitely looks like a problem specific to the G2. Current daily drivers: HP-41CL, HP-15C, HP-16C |
