Welcome to a great place to learn and share!

The Casio Algebra FX 2.0 Plus was an interesting CAS model with distinctive features:
- the highest contrast display I’ve ever seen.
- Underlying OS is DOS-based (DOS in rom).
- Nice ODE numerical solver + ODE CAS symbolic solver.

Namir,
I hope you got the Algebra FX 2.0 Plus and not the 2.0 (w/o the Plus).

There were add-ins available at one time for the 2.0 (e.g., the numeric ODE solver) that had to be downloaded and installed and took up valuable RAM. The 2.0 Plus includes these add-ins in Flash memory so they are built-in and don't take up RAM. It's a big difference because I haven't seen the add-ins for the 2.0 (w/o the Plus) at the Casio website for many years and even if found, the I/O cable is rare and the connection software was not the most reliable. The Plus version described in this thread is highly recommended.

The 1.0 Plus includes the numeric ODE solver but not the CAS.
