Today I get the Sr0364 new ACT. I think it means there are 364 New ACTs which sold all over the world. The New ACT is really a marvel.

Yes, meanwhile 364 Woodstock calculators could be repaired with the "new ACT" worldwide. The seriel numbers were counting from 0001 and there are no gaps. Also 72 "Woodstock Low Power" circuits are sent out worldwide, which makes a total of 436 repaired Woodstock calculators.

As far as I can know all repairs are successful, because, whenever I got reported, that it didn't work, I offered to send the calculator to me for soldering by myself and repair it.

Congratulations Bernhard! Nearly 500 Woodstocks rescued and brought back to life, this must be far greater than you ever could have expected, and also very satisfying indeed!

While these sobering numbers of units killed by careless users, or eager but uninformed eBay sellers, is sad indeed, your genius and passion has converted that into this huge number of rescue stories. My wife truly enjoys watching and reading about dog rescue stories, but calculator rescue stories make me happy.

What would the calculator world look like if batteries didn't leak? Certainly a lot less blue / green from Nickel and Cadmium salts!

Hi,

You where right with <panamatik-AT-vodafone.de> (not vodaphone). I had quite a few exchanges with Bernhard in the past for previous purchases and just used one of those old emails to contact him again. Besides if address is wrong I would have gotten a bounce back. On his website one is also directed to write to <sales-AT-panamatik.de> which I have also tried.

So I have already sent an email to both <panamatik-AT-vodafone.de> and <sales-AT-panamatik.de> but no answer yet for +2 days. No bounces either so addresses seem to be working fine, but not sure what is happening. Perhaps I am wrongly being redirected to his spam folder?

Anyhow, hope he's ok. If you read this Bernhard, please contact me.

He is still around. I just purchased an LP kit for my HP-25 and a Battery terminal board for my HP-34C within the past few weeks.
