Virtual HP Prime Crashing

I'm running the latest version of the virtual HP Prime emulator on Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Nothing happens when I press the EDIT button to edit a program. If I try to delete a program, the app crashes and restarts. The older version never did this. Is there a fix?

Two ways I know of are to

1. Use the reset menu option in the emulator menu

Or

2. Delete the HP Prime data folders located in your app data directory. I don't have windows 8.1 on hand so perhaps someone who does can give the direct path to these folders
