Decisions?
When you got out in the am do you ever have trouble deciding which calc to use today? Kind of like which watch to wear or which tie to wear?

RE: Decisions?
I had a boss in about 1990 who carried quite a few calculators in his attache case. He had a nice little tilt stand to put on on the desk. Every so often, with no visible reason, he would put the one calc back in the attache case and get out another one and put it on the tilt stand. I guess they just made him feel good inside.

RE: Decisions?
Which one of the CL's to use today???
Though decisions like this make our lives complicated ;-) I may also pull the 42S out of the drawer... just to check some 41Z/SandMath/Matrix results... Cheers, 'AM "To live or die by your own sword one must first learn to wield it aptly." |

RE: Decisions?
My Flight deck sees:
97 (rarely due to size) 67 48 GX with black lcd screen 42S * 41CL * 34C 29C 19C 15C The 42s with 32k is the goto machine because I have a PDF file/routine along with all my specialty aviation routines. Of course it mimics the 41cl with the blinky module for the ir printer. As you can see, all programmable with continuous memory. Recently added a Sharp PC-1201, neat machine, fully merged key strokes and continuous memory along with the green fluorescent display. Cheers, Geoff |

RE: Decisions?
Daily driver is a newer 35S at work, and occasionally I'll bring one of my 67's there to play around with. I almost always use a 67 at home, occasionally a 21.

RE: Decisions?
My primary service machine is a fully blown 71b. I like the large keyboard and the Turbo 41 ability the Translator Pac gives me. RAM is fine with the CMT Ram 32 in the card reader port.
The secondary machine is an HP48GX with a 1MB card and the Bringslid Finance pac. The tertiary is my new 67. But that is mostly for fun. still, I find myself carrying 2 of the three most times. |

RE: Decisions?
At the office, on my desk, I have always two: HP 32sII and HP 48SX (are my favorite and by their color, are beautiful).
To my classes I always carry a 11c and 35s To my meetings I go with a 15c (everyone quietly watch it. No one asks me what is that rarity so beautiful...) In my car always carry a 14b, when I go to the bank and other "simple tasks ..." All of these use it daily, it is not a difficult decision Best Regards |

The first one is always a HP-41C (CLV3, CLV2 or CX+NoV64/Clonix-D) and for the second one, I take a different one each week, which allows me to play with all my calculators at fixed intervals. Best wishes, Sylvain |
