---

--

i just received a Hp 35s, and the seller (not pro) joined a printed hp35s manual..happy to have it .. actually when you buy one there is no printed manual.. it was printed only in 2007 ? no french exition ?
i dont like the pouch, because i must take off the calculator to use it, because one of the two elastic mask keys.

maybe i will cut the 2nd elastic..

I've got my 35s in 2007 with a printed French manual.

I use only one to maintain the calculator, it's enough. I just keep the second one under the 35s. I think there are two elastic bands to be able to have the calculator in two different positions depending if you use it with your right hand out your left hand.

I live In Canada, and happen to have the French quick reference guide. My 35S came with both French and English QRG. Unfortunately I only have the English manual.

PM me if interested in the French QRG.

Edited to clarify the offer.

RE: From HP 41 to WP 34 S
i received the wp 34 s
a fantastic calculator.

the color of the wp is black and silver.

the stickers are well done.

i wonder if it was possible to make it completely black.
i finally found an old black pouch, an original HP, it fits well.
better than the original given with the wp.

RE: From HP 41 to WP 34 S
The stickers are alternative options for the shift and division keys if the pre-installed ones don't meet your preferences. For example, some prefer the obelus, other the slash symbol for division. If you want to replace the pre-installed ones it's not very difficult, just ensure you clean the key tops to remove any remaining adhesive before installing the new ones.

[h] [3] [3] [ENTER] (h X.FCN VERS) will display the firmware version details.

RE: From HP 41 to WP 34 S
i put some very fine black marker around each key sticker, being careful, to improve appearance.
better like that.

Yes if you start with an HP-20b instead of an HP-30b. But the HP-20b's are getting hard to find, and many prefer the nicer feel of the rotate and click keys that come with the HP-30b, so it is the more popular choice for WP-34s conversion. One person on the forum took his HP-30b apart and repainted the bezel with glossy black paint. If you look through the archives you may be able to find the thread and see the photos he took of this black bezel HP-30b/WP-34s conversion. If you have an idea/question, feel free to search through the forums. It is very likely that you are not the first person to have the same idea/question.

RE: From HP 41 to WP 34 S
black and silver, this is nice, with a modern look.

yes i prefer totally black, but i wont make experience and try to modify myself..
maybe i miss some red or brown( as hp67 keys) colors on stickers, because i dont like green too much, i don't know.

but i really like what you do.
the manual is great, showing HP history, and color pictures of old hp.
if one day you make a limited edition in french of this manual, tell me.
i can verify the translation for you.

no quick reference guide for wp 34 s ?

i like that.

thank you for all.
Smile

i whish a book for wp34s, listing of games and mathematics.

The "WP 34s Pocket Reference” covers the v3.2 firmware which is very close to the v3.3. A booklet print version is also available here.
It is a DIY document and you can find some instructions to build one in the issue #3 of the french “Gazette des Pocketicaires”.

Thanks for the additional links Didier.

Plz PM me with info on buying a copy. Could be shipping costs to USA makes it unreasonable, but maybe a group buy over here makes sense; if there is sufficient interest, I'd be willing to coordinate.

Also, I don't suppose there are English versions of the Gazette available anywhere? Just looked at one and it's frustrating to see all the interesting content but unable to read it. Sad
