Rebuilding battery pack for 29C - Question???
I received a 29C with 3 dead battery packs. The local Batteries Plus only had equivalent batteries rated at 1100mah. They came pre-charged and work well. My question is this:
Can there be problems charging these batteries (1100mah) using the 82041A charger in the calculator? Thank you... David |

My question is this: There shouldn't be any problem apart from an increased charging time. Anyway, remember that you should never, ever, connect the charger to the calculator without batteries, or with a defective battery pack. You calculator will be fried. In fact, I'll recommend you to charge the batteries out of the calculator, using a faster charger (La Crosse / Technoline is a well know and respected brand), but this will require an "easy to open battery pack". |
