My pre-HP, Mountain Computer only branded manual is dated June 1983, Manual No. 11-MC00701A-02. As it's pre-71 announcement, it includes model-specific content only for 41C, 75 and 85. I presume the HP-branded version is the same, with no '71 content except for the supplement? --Bob Prosperi |

Marcus suggested I try a vintage monitor and that did the trick. I suspect that modern composite interfaces have a higher input bandwidth than the vintage CRT monitors. I would think that some sort of filter would eliminate the higher frequencies that are causing the jitter, but was unsuccessful finding something. I was hoping to verify that the video interface was working before purchasing (and paying freight) for a composite monitor. From what you are saying, a composite to HDMI converter would work well enough to do just that. Thanks! Mark Hardman Ceci n'est pas une signature. |

I tried a converter, too, and it to exhibited jitter, but it'll verify whether or not the interface is working. If the interface is good I have a 14" National NL-214C you can have. Dave |
