Programming with HP50g
I am beginner with HP50g.
I would like to start with programming. Can anybody find easy short programs (dealing with math or physics) in the net, which help me with my project?

Does anybody has some ideas how to start with little programs?

Excellent recommendation Gerald, you beat me to it!

There is no better single source of small programs, tips and techniques to learn (and quickly become impressed with the power of) RPL.

EVERY RPL user should review these great "marvels" from time to time.

I also suggest you to use 'HPUserEdit' . Creating and editing programs will be far more easy.

Am I the only one getting an error message when I try to access this site? I have it in my book marks and remember reading through it in the past, but I can't get to it with Firefox nor IE. Is anyone else having the same trouble?

Brad

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It's working now.
For many days I see the web being quite chaotic.
Vacation and low maintenance? Heat wave? Storms?

Can't load the page from either of a couple of different machines. Lots of potential reasons that people from different locations would have different results, including the server and/or site blocking http requests meeting certain criteria (origin IP, browser versions, or lots of other possibilities). It's also worth noting that my firewall/virus checking software on one computer blocked the attempt saying that the site potentially contained threats -- which sometimes simply means that there was something unexpected about the way it responded. My settings are fairly conservative on that machine.

So something's definitely not quite right with the site.

RE: Programming with HP50g
My thanks to everyone who reported success/failure on the site. I won't have to chase my firewall settings around, and will instead wait on the site maintainer to fix the problem.

If someone with access to the site finds a contact to the administrator, perhaps you could make them aware of the problem.

Thank you,
Brad

Maybe this can help:

http://web.archive.org/web/2015040510223...rea48.com/

It seems to be related to from where the request is send to the server. I'm in Germany and had no luck.

Hi,

No account is needed to access HPCalc. All files are freely downloadable.

Clicking the links in my post should take you directly to the page with a downloadable zip file and a description and some details.

Best regards.
