HP 50G: Function KST - What Does It Do?
Some years ago I programmed a function
KST (I guess the name has some relevance) Code:
which for input X, Y calculates 1-(1/EXP(2*X^2))*(1-2*(X/(3*βY))) Can anyone say the use of the function? |

I have not a really good memory but typically I can remember very old thing - because I write down everything. Use less computer and more paper/pencil combo and you will remember everything (or at least where you will found the information)... Csaba |

Thank you, Csaba, for your critique - my filing is minimal & devoid of system.
You may have noticed that I've posted a few programmes in the General Software Library, both to encourage others to programme & publish - & to act as a repository for my own use. I hope I might have copied the programme from some source & perhaps the original author could say a few words? |

OK, my English is really bad and what is formed in my head is not matches what I want to say. And of course we are different and your limits between humour, sarcasm and hurt is shifted to my limits. If you have little more information about this equation, I really interested - please post here. Thank you! Csaba |

RE: HP 50G: Function KST - What Does It Do?
A fine humour, Csaba, clearly you've been learning from that great English writer George Mikes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Mikes who I love to quote: βIn England it is bad manners to be clever, to assert something confidently. It may be your own personal view that two and two make four, but you must not state it in a self-assured way, because this is a democratic country and others may be of a different opinion.β β George Mikes, How To Be A Brit But you shouldn't believe all you read. |

After an excruciating trial of self hypnosis I came up with
