RE: HHC 2015 videos available?
I've added my NP25, pcb calculator, assembly/soldering demonstration to YouTube that I showed at HHC2015 in Nashville. You can see it at this link:
NP25 Assembly/Soldering Demo (fyi: there's no audio in this video) No doubt Jake Schwartz and Eric Rechlin will be uploading the speakers presentations soon, after some minor editing of the videos. Remember, most of the attendees just left Nashville on Monday (9/28) and had to travel back home. Give them a few days to recover from their traveling and finishing the edits. |

Hmm, so it was obvious I am a bit impatient and can't wait to see what I have missed? ;-) |

The more I think about it, the more I want a 67E, too. Count me in for a 67 overlay as well as the 34e one |

RE: HHC 2015 videos available?
FYI: Also, the contents of the HHC 2015 Thumb Drive which are not available elsewhere (e.g. YouTube and hpcalc.org) will be uploaded to the hhuc.us/2015 website so that non-attendees can access them. But I can't do that at the moment, because I'm sitting at Terminal C10 at Nashville International Airport. But when I get home I'll take care of that and post an announcement.

RE: HHC 2015 videos available?
I just got back to Houston at 2:15am today, because I did it in one go and drove the scenic route (444 mile long, 50 mph Natchez Trace Parkway) and made a couple stops for mountain biking and hiking, so I haven't had a chance to upload anything yet, but I hope to have the videos posted within a week.

Along the same lines, did the 2014 conference proceedings get posted anywhere ? I looked at http://hhuc.us/2014/ but could not locate them.

RE: HHC 2015 videos available?
In order to speed up files transfer, is there a way to log in anonymously on ftp://hhuc.us/2014/files/ so an FTP client can be used to bulk transfer the files ? Alternatively, what User name / password combination can be used ?
TIA. |

Hi, I would expect that Eric will post his videos soon, as has been the case in the most recent years. And, as has been the case in the past years, I will be editing mine into a full-conference DVD set. (Last year's HHC2014 DVD set is six disks and info on obtaining it can be found here.) HHC2015 was a two-camera shoot and I need to edit them back to a single "master", from which the DVDs will be created. No doubt, it will take months for the 15-16 hours (or roughly 400 gigabytes of files) of material to be ready. Jake |

We're just letting y'all know why the delay is happening. Although not everything on the HHC 2015 Thumb Drive is online, I just finished uploading the (non-video, mostly PowerPoint) presentations themselves here: http://hhuc.us/2015/files <0|ɸ|0> -Joe- |

I can't make it allow anonymous FTP, but the whole "2015/files" folder is only 79.26MB, so I'll zip it up and make it available there as a single download ASAP. Thanks for the suggestion! EDIT: Done. The two subfolders in the "2015/files" folder are now available as a single download here: http://hhuc.us/2015/files/EntireCollection.zip <0|ɸ|0> -Joe- |

And for those of us who're on a DeLorean bender, are there files earlier than 2013 (what I've been able to find)? My browser failed when I set it to http://hhuc.us/2012/files/. Were there files released for earlier years?

The "Online LIF Disk Project" files on the HHC 2014 thumb drive are already available as a single zipfile here: http://holyjoe.net/HP71/Online-LIF-Disk-Project.zip (10-01-2015 08:48 PM)brickviking Wrote: And for those of us who're on a DeLorean bender, are there files earlier than 2013 (what I've been able to find)? None of its files are online; I'll work on that if somebody can loan me theirs. I don't have time to even think about years before 2012. <0|ɸ|0> -Joe- |

RE: HHC 2015 videos available?
Thank you all for sharing the HHC 2015 contents with the rest of us, specially for people based in the other remote places and have little chance to attend the event.
May I ask if Tim was a Speaker? Jose Mesquita RadioMuseum.org member |
