Thank, Mike for your advice. Yes, in Germany / France it would be cheaper I guess and the location is still only 20 minutes away and you can reach it easily by bus / train. Depending on your premium language there imight also be a benefit of the french language for you.

Airplane+Train tickets & room reservation for 2016 Allschwil Meeting is finally done!
I am leaving Montreal Thursday afternoon (16h55) and I will arrive at Basel Friday morning (9h24).
I will be staying at the Steinenschanze Stadthotel (Steinengraben 69 Basel) for three nights.
I am leaving Basel Monday morning (9h37) and I will be back at Montreal Monday afternoon (15h10).
I am eager to finally meet you all in person next October 8-)

Of course, we are still looking for additional interested persons - a special invitations goes to Angel Martin who attended the first meeting in 2004 as well. As to attending the gathering I'm not sure the dates will work for me; maybe one day trip at best.
