Walter, yes, persistently reminding of an obvious bug (especially a bug that affects only 1 out of 3000 users) is correctly called "griping." As Bill said, this forum is not the proper venue for reporting deficiencies in BBS forum software; Dave can't really do anything about it, as he has said. Accept that.

If you are referring to Bill, Den, and Dave as "the last three posters" and you are accusing them of not caring about a bug-free forum because they are not responsive to your personal crusade, you're being a bit unfair. It's time to drop it.

Maybe it's time for you to switch to the other mode, like everyone else.

Didn't observe any gravitational waves of that black hole yet else I'd send them focussed to the programmer to shake him/her out of his/her hammock.
