DM41L Back Legend
Got my DM41L a couple of days ago and am really impressed. I've been puzzling over some of the symbols on the legend on the back of the calculator, though. Specifically what are the <12-, -12>, <1-, -1>, REC^, etc?
And also on the front are T+X and COR. Couldn't find any info on these searching around. Thanks, Lonnie |

RE: DM41L Back Legend
T+X and CORR are Time Module functions.

I am just guessing here, but those appear to me to indicate "move 12 characters to the left", "move 12 characters to the right", "move 1 character to the left", and "move 1 character to the right". Can you get into alpha mode and see if I'm right? REC^ appears to me to be a "record" toggle. Can the DM41L record keystrokes? smp |

RE: DM41L Back Legend
Thanks for all the answers, guess I could have dug out X module documentation and figured it out, but didn't think of it. Never bought one of the Voyagers, although I used a 16 at work for a while, but I thought my 41 could be made to do anything the Voyagers could do, having started in 1974 with my HP45 then a 25, a 41 C then a CV. I guess I didn't think too much of the landscape layout, but after using the DM41L it's growing on me. I think Swiss Micros is going to get more of my money.

Lonnie, FYI, ED is not part of the HP-82180A X-Functions/Memory module. It was only made available as part of a HP-41CX supplementary internal 4K ROM. So the information can only be found in the HP-41CX users manuals. Sylvain |

Sylvain:
Thanks for that, thought I roasted too many brain cells, because I didn't recall any of that. Glad, I'm not completely over the hill. Lonnie |
