CAS: REDUNDANT PARENTHESES
Hello, I would like in future versions, a better and more expert decoder of math expressions, the hp-prime CAS adds unnecessary parenthesis =(
Example #1 Entry line _________________________________ solve( (x+5)*e^x = (x+5)*e^(2*x), x ) [ENTER] ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ returns to the history as solve( ( (x+5)*e^x ) = ( (x+5)*e^(2*x) ) , x ) many people might like it show Extra parentheses, by a flag I would like to disable this feature. When copying expressions, hp-prime to a document. there always makes editing, the idea is to be nearest to the notation of a math book |

There are two ways: (1) Use the touch-screen. Touch one end of the subpart that you wish to highlight, and hold your finger down for more than one second. This sets the "Begin" anchor. Now drag your finger to the end of the desired subpart and release. It is now highlighted. (2) Move the cursor to the beginning of the desired subpart using either the cursor key or by tapping the screen. Press the Copy key and notice its soft menu. Tap the Begin button to drop the anchor there. Now move the cursor to the end of the subpart and tap the End button. It is now highlighted. To adjust the selection, move the cursor and press either Begin or End again. <0|ɸ|0> -Joe- |
