I would try downloading using the direct link. Once the files have been fully downloaded, does the installer run?

You say that it is failing, but in what way? Does the installer report an error? Does it install, but on run has an error?

Any additional information would be helpful.

The installation succeeded but both VC and CK failed to start on two different Win10 devices (fully updated tablets). All OK on an old Win10 laptop that was missing just the very latest update. The VK and VC freeze on startup.

Thank you. We did defintiely test on the latest windows versions so this is quite perplexing.

Could you possibly try installing the c++ redistributables? We did modify the installer to "force" this to install, but maybe something is still not happening like we expected.

Hello Tim,
I have seen, if due to the 2-minute limit in the FTP connection the transmission of the file is incomplete, the installation is started nevertheless (it will not CRC check or equivalent), and the installation stops with different errors.
Maybe this could result in such errors.

I verified the runtime installation, it was installed. I downloaded the file anyways and ran it, selected the repair option. Same outcome. I verified the runtime versions as same, on both the wimpy tablet, and on a Surface Pro 4.

Went like a charm using the new method, I started the ConKit, it asked for permissions, downloaded everything and installed the new versions without any problem. Then I started the VC, chose "Nach Aktualisierungen suchen" it found the new version saying "Une mise a jour est disponsable" I said Install, it started the download and near the end showed a small dialog-box saying error.
So I downloaded from the ftp-site, that installed without any problem.

I´ve checked #15. Resolved issue with int(cos(x^2/2),x,1.,-1.), but it didn´t solve it.

Confirmed. On the VC a message concerning complex variables was displayed, I switched that off, both possibilities provided the above result just like the HW-Prime did.

Yes Tim both VC and CK installed perfectly. But when started, VC came up on the screen as if normal followed in 2 sec. with "The application has crashed and will be restarted", when OK is pressed the VC screen in the background says "Clearing Memory" and tries to restart and the same message "The applic........restarted" returns. For the CK, the message is "Connectivity Kit stopped working" and exits. I now reloaded r10077 and both 'VC & CK' are working correctly. I don't usually use VC but CK 'r10077' is not a problem and does not interfere with programming. The PC where the fault occurs is a Surface 3 running Windows 10 with latest updates.

Hi - - What do you mean, didn't solve? Does Shift-Enter (approx) not get you the numerical result? And if you insert the decimal point at the lower and upper limit of the integral(1., -1.), the Prime gives you the answer right away.

But no symbolic solution - - for that to happen, Fresnel integrals ought to be recognized.

I successfully installed both Virtual Calc and ConnKit r10637 on Windows 10, but it took several minutes. After the initial screen, the progress bar shows 0% for 1-2 min, and only then it starts showing the installation progress. In my system Visual C++ 2013 redistributable was installed first.

Hello,
I encountered the same issue while installing the latest release of the CK on my surface pro 4 (WIN10)
The installation seemed to be successful, but the CK didn't start at the end. It offered to try a repair- I allowed it to do so, it rebooted the surface but - no success!
