RE: HP 75 Cat?
Blank (unprogrammed) is probably incorrect as these are probably mask programmable and not OTP. So, 82726A is not the product number specifically for the WRITE39 ROM as many custom 8K ROM's will have that product number.
Also, the ODS ROM, 82720A, is an older product number for an 8K custom ROM. Dave |

RE: HP 75 Cat?
I pretty shure the Write39 is a official rom module. Have a look at item 222407966676. 82726A-S02 is a unique product number of HP, isn't it?

Code39 was a popular form of barcode the 75 wand could read, so it's reasonable to conclude (though I have no facts) that Write39 was some form of related application, perhaps for printing Code39 barcodes. Just a guess though. --Bob Prosperi |

Unfortuantelly we will never know if the seller insists in his high prices and no-contacts. I can not get in contact with him as he blocks european contacts as well.

And all prices there are crazy high. Sadly, some people pay those prices, so small chance they will ever come down. --Bob Prosperi |

RE: HP 75 Cat?
Not quite my experience. Under his old name I had contact to him and and even bought 1-2 parts (at the time the prices were not as impudent as today). Unfortunatly, the email address is no longer valid.
