After obscuring the top bar, what is the best way to get it back?
After obscuring the top bar, for example to draw a fullscreen image within a program, what is the optimum way of getting the top bar back?
One possibility would be to save and restore the top bar as a .png or .jpg file - but the top bar displays changeable information. Ideally one would probably prefer to display the new time and battery status and angle mode, rather than simply redrawing the old data. Can the top bar be redisplayed? Possibly leaving the fullscreen image onscreen except for where the top bar is. Stephen Lewkowicz (G1CMZ) https://my.numworks.com/python/steveg1cmz |

you could design your app to use a grob that won't write over the top bar.
