Contradiction between CAS and Home
In CAS mode if I type
(1-e^(-1/2))/(1-e^-2)
the result is
(e^(1/2))^3/((e^(1/2))^3+(e^(1/2))^2+(e^(1/2))+1)
wich is 0.174326466693

In home mode if I type the same
(1-e^(-1/2))/(1-e^-2)
the result is
0.455054233923 that is the result I was looking for.

How can this be possible?

I get 0.455... in both modes.

Type (1-e^(-1/2))/(1-e^-2) in CAS mode click enter and u will get (e^(1/2))^3/((e^(1/2))^3+(e^(1/2))^2+(e^(1/2))+1), then go to home-menu-get from CAS-enter to obtain the numerical value of the result

RE: Contradiction between CAS and Home
If the expression is entered in CAS , then use [Shift][Enter], the approximate value returned shows up with the same value as returned when entered in HOME, (on my emulator).

It is correct, but why when I import the same formula in home mode, it changes the result?

I was not able to reproduce the error either. All I get is 0.455054233923 every way I try.

I downloaded HP Connectivity Kit for Mac OS, but I cannot upgrade the calculator... I have read that if the version firmware I have is too old, I had to upgrade the calculator from windows.
