Viewing images on 50g or 49g+

I've tried googling on how to view images on the 50g/49g+ and the solution escapes me.

Isn't there a jpg viewer? Do I need to convert traditional image formats like jpg, png, tiff and bmp to something else?

What's up with that gri-format?

Is there a way to convert a short mpg or avi into an animated image for the calculator?
