HP 39gs programming
Hi all,

I just acquired a new HP 39 gs for very little money (46 Euros). The use of the Aplets is quite easy but programming showed to be difficult. The manual has more than 300 pages but there is no single example of a new program that does not use an Aplet to start with. There is a wonderful and very helpful website with a pdf-document called "Mastering the hp 39g+" (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00524206.pdf) which is explaing programming in detail but again only by using Aplets and not how to make totally new programs.

So it took me some time to program my first example which i have attached with some explanations. The topic is trivial: Solution of a quadratic equation. But it uses input, branches and output and perhaps there are users which find this helpful.

Any qestions are welcome.

RE: HP 39gs programming
Thank you very much rprosperi. You are right, but these are all aplets that need a parent aplet. How to do this is described as well in manual an in the book "Mastering the HP 39g+". What I could not find was information about how to make a program that is not based on an aplet.
