[Request] HPconnKit HP-Prime (Program Editor)
Hello

To facilitate the development of applications and programs I propose

1: Allow resizing of the edit source.
2: A menu to format or tabulate the text, it is very complicated to do it manually
3: a toolbar with menus of the programming templates
4: collapse and expansion of code blocks
5: show file size
6: Generate popup warning boxes, when the file plus from 31 chars (sent and store)
7: menus to sort files by name, by date
8: menu to search for and replace words
9: show multiple files by tabs

Yes! I don't understand # 6, but totally agree with the rest!

#6 refers to the limit on the length of file names (or was it function names?)

Files with more than 31 characters, can not be appended to the program directory (HPconnKit), and the program does not say that it occurs

Function name with more than 31 characters compiler, cut the name, but there is problem if two functions have the same prefix

I just missed an afternoon of work Sad
I accidentally deleted a program.

Suggestion:

Go on back to work, you can just restore your deleted program from the backup you made.

Who would have thought that -you- wouldn't have thought to make a backup of an important file? Oh well, hp happens. You could still have stayed at work because, luckily, you can copy your program from the notepad ++ file, that you use. Your lost program is a very important program, and way more important than your employment. Good thing you have an hp prime to match your priorities!

If all else fails, you will still be able to recreate your lost program ... from your own knowledge, skill, and abilities. Based on all of your previous advice and guidance to the hp team, your aptitude must surely be commensurate. Miss a little more work time, the demands of the workplace will understand, and I will certainly understand if your programming demands take you away from your forum contributions for awhile, (if need be).

Good luck!
