Here is the thread detailing which devices are finding HP Prime Pro, and which aren't.

RE: New HP Prime update 2.1.14730
AFilesB crashes for reading more than 10000 bytes if the file is large enough. This causes a reboot instead of displaying "Insufficient memory" or something similar (tested on G1).
For example: AFilesB("bigfile",0,10001); |

Hi Klaas,
It's been a while now and was just wondering if you have an ETA for the Mac update? Even a rough ETA (eg this year or 1st half next year). TIA, dmh (04-24-2023 07:02 AM)KlaasKuperus Wrote: Hi all, Calculator Clique on YouTube |

The bug got fixed! |

The CK sees G1 calculator connected via USB cable. When I click on calculator name in CK to display all calc. items, the calculator reboots immediately. The same response on W10 and W11; Firewall disabled. No such issue with updated PC HP Prime or Android HP Prime Pro (2.1.14594 (2021 05 14)). Hope next SW release fix this issue (connectivity to HP Prime G1, HW v. A under W10 & W11) soon. Thank you. I get this same behaviour (same calculator, same versions), physical calculator reboots when I open it in CK. I reset my calculator completely and it works fine in CK (I can open it). Then (in CK) I simply copied the spreadsheet and added a few very simple formulas into the new sheet, saved it to write it to the calculator, and backed up the calculator. After disconnecting & reconnecting, this reboot behaviour started happening and also the backup option is missing from the right-click menu. I reset the calculator again, and this time copied and populated the (copied) spreadsheet on the physical calculator, and I can now disconnect/reconnect and open my calculator within CK. Now though I'm unable to connect the app to CK where it was connecting before, and the app can still see the server name for CK. I don't know how reproduceable all this is, I think last time I got the app to connect after I uninstalled/reinstalled CK and updated it. That did *not* fix the calc rebooting when you open it in CK though. It's the first time in a while that I picked up the calculator, started from a blank slate and had all these issues in minutes, I don't think the dev team would have to take much time to try to reproduce... |

RE: New HP Prime update 2.1.14730
I've noticed recurring problems that arise when I first start CK, then VC, and only after that do I connect G1 via USB cable. In such a scenario, it happens that G1 is detected after a very long time, even 20-30 seconds (but it eventually appears). After launching CK, if I connect G1 first (without starting VC), it appears without any delays. I've never observed these delays when connecting G2.
