You can also use the "View" function of the drive directory listing to obtain the FOCAL code of a HP-41 progam file. |

RE: pyILPER 1.6.0 and LIFUTILS 1.7.7 final release
hi,
I'm trying but I need some help, as I get an error "illegal retval" and in the same time "not connected to pilbox". PILBOX is ok on COM3 (Windows) and works well with ILCtrl. Thanks! Salvo ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. Lib |

Salvo, the PIL-Box has a jumper that sets the baud-rate option 115KB or 230KB. The 230KB is obviously faster, but the 'feeling' is even faster than it sounds and I recommend using 230KB if you can; I am fairly sure it will work at 230KB on OSX, but what s/w are you using? IL-Per under some Windows subsystem (parallels, etc.) or pyILPer ? --Bob Prosperi |

Today I set cables and started with PILbox and I saw the jumper set was the #2; should I test put in in #3? (11-28-2017 06:37 PM)jsi Wrote: This release of pyILPER includes lots of enhancements, improvements and changes, see the release notes for details. Thanks a lot, Joachim! I'm enjoying very much with this program and PILbox (I find very good also ILper). Installed with a glitch both in Mac OS X 10.13.3 and Windows 10 (inside Parallels 13). I'm testing HP-41CX and HP-71b. I'd like to have a set of preconfigured programs (LIF...) where to pick and install in the calculator (using the program not only to backup all - very important job - or printing, very amazing to get PDF from the "old machines")... Like a sort or "repository" (two series, for 71B and 41C) or "carry and cash (without cash)" of programs About this purpose, it would be nice to could edit the virtual devices (disks, LIF, DAT...) to put (not only delete) programs to load, then, in the calculator; with the goal to share nice configurations, sets,... EDIT: though I'm testing to import with Tools from some ROMs, it is not exactly what I'd prefer: I would like to import some parts by a list of programs in them, not the whole ROM... Also in Windows, now at 115KB pyILper returns "illegal retval". salvo ∫aL√0mic (IT9CLU) :: HP Prime 50g 41CX 71b 42s 39s 35s 12C 15C - DM42, DM41X - WP34s Prime Soft. Lib |
